Safety First

Your safety comes first. Our goal is to make it easy to get on the water and enjoy your time paddling, but every renter is responsible for using good judgment, following local laws, and paddling within their ability level.

Please review the guidance below before heading out.

Know Your Limits

Only paddle in conditions that match your experience and comfort level. Wind, current, weather, boat traffic, distance, and fatigue can all affect your outing. If conditions look questionable, do not launch.

Check Conditions Before You Go

Always check the weather and water conditions before launching. Do not paddle during storms, high winds, lightning, or other hazardous conditions. Conditions can change quickly, so continue to monitor them throughout your outing.

Life Jackets and Safety Equipment

A life jacket should always be available for every person on board, and all required boating safety laws must be followed. Children must meet all applicable life jacket requirements. A whistle is included with each craft and must remain attached.

Inspect Your Equipment

Before taking any equipment on the water, inspect it carefully. Confirm that the craft, paddles, pump, safety gear, and other included items are present and in good condition. Do not use any equipment that appears damaged, unsafe, or incomplete.

Inflatable Craft Information

Our kayaks and paddleboards are premium inflatables designed for portability and convenience. They include a hand pump, paddles, and a travel bag. Be sure the craft is properly inflated and ready for use before launching.

Paddle Smart

Stay aware of your surroundings at all times. Watch for changing weather, current, shallow areas, obstacles, wildlife, swimmers, and other vessels. Stay clear of restricted or hazardous areas and avoid paddling beyond your skill level.

Plan Ahead

Know where you are launching, where you plan to paddle, and how you will return. Bring water, sun protection, and any personal items you may need for a safe outing. Do not overload the craft or exceed its intended use.

Return Equipment Safely

Please return all equipment in the same general condition in which it was rented, and follow all return instructions carefully. If anything is damaged, missing, or not working properly, let us know as soon as possible.

Emergency Situations

If there is an emergency or immediate danger, call 911 first. For non-emergency rental-related issues, please use the support instructions provided with your reservation.

Enjoy the Water Responsibly

We want you to have a great experience and enjoy the freedom to paddle where you want. Please be safe, use good judgment, and make responsible decisions every step of the way.
